科学研究:主持国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目、重庆市自然科学基金面上项目等科研项目,长期致力于镁基无机材料及低维纳米材料的可控制备、结构调控及环境功能研究,重点开展层状双氢氧化物、镁基晶须/纳米线、金属氧化物及复合功能材料的制备与应用研究,涉及水污染物吸附、光催化降解、抗菌及资源循环利用等方向,在无机材料结构调控、界面作用及环境污染物去除机制等方面形成了一定的研究基础。近年来发表学术论文20余篇,其中SCI收录论文20余篇。
教研教改:承担《无机化学》《化工原理》《无机化学实验》《化工原理实验》等本科课程以及《高等无机化学》等研究生课程教学工作。指导研究生13名、本科生20余名,指导大学生科技创新项目3项、研究生科技创新项目3项。
