科学研究:主持重庆市自然科学基金、重庆市教委科学技术研究项目等省部级科研项目3项;主持/主研中石油、中石化、重庆水务集团等横向科研项目30余项(其中主持14项);累计发表SCI学术论文30余篇(含一作/通讯作者论文20篇),参编外文专著3部,授权发明专利4项。
教研教改:承担《过程系统工程》《化工设计》等本科及研究生课程教学;主持省部级教研教改项目2项、校级项目3项,发表教改论文6篇。指导研究生7名;指导本科生获全国大学生化工设计竞赛(国A)特等奖等学科竞赛荣誉10余项;获全国大学生化工设计竞赛优秀指导教师、中国石油和化工教育教学优秀成果二等奖等荣誉。
