主持国家自然科学基金青年基金项目、重庆市科技局面上项目、重庆市教委科研项目(重点)、四川省科技支撑计划项目等纵向项目,以及中石油川西北气矿科技攻关项目等横向项目。在以去氢苯轮烯为代表的分子碳材料功能化及生物应用方面取得多项成果,近5年在Organic Letters、Organic Chemistry Frontiers等期刊发表第一作者/通讯作者论文30篇;研究成果入选Organic Letters专题特刊“π-Conjugated Molecules and Materials”。
指导博士研究生1名,硕士研究生8名。主讲研究生《高等有机化学》(省部级课程思政示范课)、《现代波谱分析》、本科生《有机反应机理》、《有机波谱分析》等课程。出版《有机合成》(化学工业出版社)研究生教材1部。承担省部级教研教改项目2项,发表教改论文3篇。指导本科生获得“中国TRIZ杯大学生创新方法大赛”三等奖等国家级、省部级创新创业奖励4项。
